Rick Molé is a seasoned software engineer with over 7 years of experience across the development stack. Currently working at Hightouch as a Software Engineer, Rick has a strong background in using a variety of technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, Docker, React, and SQL. Rick is the co-creator and software engineer of Tapestry, an open-source pipeline orchestration framework for user entity data. He has automated the deployment of a warehouse-centric data pipeline that incorporates both data ingestion and data syncing components, implemented an interactive CLI application available as an NPM package, and containerized data syncing tool to deploy ECS Fargate cluster using Docker Compose ECS Integration. Rick has also created a frontend dashboard for infrastructure health monitoring and observability using React and TailwindCSS. He built a backend server to retrieve health metrics for frontend UI to display using Express and Node.js. In addition to his work with Tapestry, Rick has designed and implemented a number of open-source web applications such as Reaction, MessBuck, Dijkstra's Trip, and TodoList. Rick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University and is currently pursuing a Capstone Program in Software Engineering from Launch School.
