Rinki Nag is a highly skilled Data Scientist with over 6 years of relevant experience in the fields of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Big Data. Currently working at Sears Holdings India, Rinki is applying Deep Learning technologies to solve CPG wide problems like IOT in-home devices and home services. She is also passionate about building a product that combines the power of BIG data and AI technologies. Rinki has a strong background in software engineering and web development and is highly proficient in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data, and Cloud Technologies. She is also a former Microsoft certified trainer (MCT) and a passionate Open Source developer and teacher/learner for a lifetime. In the past, Rinki has worked with Simplilearn as a freelance ML Trainer, taking weekend lectures for Data Science with Python batches for 100+ students. She has also worked as a Junior ML Engineer with Omdena, where she contributed to the Humanity Project and Kenya Red Cross Project, building AI models based on deep learning and causal inference to identify actions and behaviors that affect the user's biological age and assessing the impact of desert locusts. Rinki holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai. She has also completed various courses and nanodegrees in Deep Learning, Analytics, and Reinforcement Learning from Udacity.
