Ripudaman Singh Uppal is a highly motivated and skilled student at the University of Windsor, currently pursuing a Master of Applied Computing degree. He has a keen interest in software development and business and is always looking for the latest happenings in the field of computer science. Ripudaman has a great deal of experience in front-end frameworks like Angular and React and object-oriented languages such as C++, Java, and Python. Prior to his current academic pursuit, Ripudaman worked as an intern and then as a software developer at Amadeus Labs for 1.5 years. He gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in software engineering, using Agile, Git, Linux, Java, C++, and Angular while performing his job. He is a hardworking individual who likes to be challenged and is always looking to improve himself. Ripudaman is a good listener and enjoys meeting new people. He is always open to discussing new technologies and developments in the field of computer science. He believes in honest and well-intentioned people and always wants to be part of a hardworking group. Currently, Ripudaman is working as a Seasonal Retail Associate at LCBO, where he collaborates with the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and exceed expectations. He has also worked as a Technical Lead at Google Developer Student Club - University of Windsor, where he helped in conducting monthly events that saw a participation of 60+ students, reached out to prominent speakers through various channels to conduct workshops, and shared knowledge gained from a personal reading hobby with team members to develop an inclusive environment. Ripudaman has a strong educational background, having completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Thapar University and is now pursuing a Master of Applied Computing degree from the University of Windsor. He is proficient in SQL, Java, and has experience in software engineering, frontend development, and senior software engineering. With 1.52 years of relevant experience, Ripudaman is open to co-op opportunities for Fall 2022.
