Rishabh Sharma is a driven and accomplished computer science graduate student with expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and software engineering. He is an avid programmer in Python, C, and C++, and has worked as a research intern at the Space Application Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), where he focused on the autonomous process of corner correction in planetary data and autonomous navigation of rover systems using computer vision and deep learning methods. Currently working as a software engineer intern at Siemens, Rishabh is part of the clinical application research team where he designs deep learning methods for the classification and prediction of Alzheimer's Disease. He has developed multiple convolutional neural networks that are compatible with multi-modality data using Python, PyTorch, and TRW Framework. Rishabh has also developed an algorithm that predicts the conversion of a Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) patient to Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) with an accuracy of 91.6%. During his internship, he has produced two research abstracts and filed one patent. Rishabh has previously worked as a research assistant and researcher at the University of Houston's Medical Robotics Lab, where he contributed to a team of graduate students working on intelligent MRI scanners and using Hololens to make advanced scanning and surgery conditions. The team was advised by Dr. Nikolaos Tsekos and Dr. Christopher Eick. Rishabh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Houston, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from JECRC University. He also holds a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp. Rishabh's tech stack includes research scientist, software engineer, deep learning, computer vision, Python, AI, ML, neural networks, and PyTorch. With 5.28 years of relevant experience, Rishabh is seeking opportunities with organizations that are working on exciting problems where he can apply his skills in AI and deep learning. A fun fact about Rishabh is that he is an academic descendant of Nikolaos V. Tsekos, Kamil Ugurbil, John H Vleck, Robert Oppenheimer, Ernst Rutherford, Niels Bohr, and J. J. Thomson.
