Rishabh Upadhayay is a Software Development Engineer 2 at FanCode, a Dream Sports company, with over 3 years of experience in designing and building scalable distributed systems. He has a passion for understanding how web technologies work and is particularly interested in backend engineering and learning about distributed systems such as GFS, Aurora DB, Raft, Zookeeper, and Chain Replication. One of his current personal projects is a sharded and replicated key-value database that is configurable at the collection level to be write-heavy or read-heavy. Prior to joining FanCode, Rishabh worked at Weave as a Software Engineer 2, building large-scale distributed systems using Golang, gRPC, and PostgreSQL. He also worked at Infosys as a Full Stack Developer, where he built products using Nodejs, Angular, and Python. Rishabh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Thakur Polytechnic. His technical skills include software engineering, backend development, SQL, JavaScript, Golang, web development, NodeJS, Ethereum, blockchain, recommendation systems, testing, Redis, RabbitMQ, machine learning, MongoDB, Kafka, microservices, Flask, and UI design.
