Rishi Pithadiya is an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer from Pune, India, with a passion for building software products. He has been building software products since 2014, starting with Visual Studio dot net and shifting to Ruby on Rails. Rishi is passionate about writing, sharing his knowledge, shaping different ideas to reality, making things easier by building something efficient, and reading books. He always wanted to be a fashion designer when he was a kid, but everything changed once he got a computer in the last year of his school days. He fell in love with it, but he was still far away from anything related to programming. He joined college and chose computer as his main subject and started his career at BoTree Technologies after his Masters. He was the first Junior Engineer that the company ever hired. Since then, Rishi has worked with two other organizations and helped them create various applications in Ruby on Rails and multiple front-end projects. He also worked to improve onboarding experiences, interviewed and recruited candidates, and created style guides for the company. Currently, Rishi is a Sr Software Engineer at Pattern, where he works on designing and developing software products. Previously, he worked as a Senior Technical Lead and Technical Team Lead - Ruby on Rails at Sell.do, India's leading sales and marketing automation platform for real estate business. At Sell.do, Rishi was responsible for the development of the whole post-sales module from the last three years and built it in such a way that no other platforms like Salesforce, fresh sales have such inbuilt functionalities. He also created multiple scripts for importing inventory, created a script for seed data in Sell.do, and moved templates to ERB. Rishi has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Dharmsihn Desai University and a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from Gujarat University.
