Rishi Sharma is a PhD student at EPFL, currently working as a Doctoral Assistant in the Scalable Computing Systems Lab. He is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for tackling challenging research problems. Rishi's research interests primarily revolve around Distributed Systems and Decentralized & Federated Learning. He is well-versed in the latest technologies and techniques in these fields and is always eager to learn more. In addition to his current role, Rishi has also worked as a Mentor for OpenAstronomy at Google Summer of Code and as an Associate Developer Intern at Arcesium. These experiences have helped him to hone his skills and gain valuable insights into the industry. Rishi's educational background is equally impressive. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at EPFL, which he is expected to complete in 2025. Prior to this, he completed a Student Exchange program in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University in 2020 and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT in 2021. Rishi's technical skills are diverse and extensive. He is a Research Scientist with a strong focus on Decentralized technologies.
