Rishi is an accomplished executive leader with a proven track record of building and scaling world-class data science organizations. As the Head of Data Science at MPL, he brings in strong leadership skills and extensive experience in project deliveries across various domains for global fortune 100 firms and top Indian startups. Rishi has a diverse background in data science and has worked across various industries like e-commerce, finance, hospitality, retail, and CPG. He has a passion for developing machine learning and data science products that help organizations achieve their business goals. Before joining MPL, Rishi was running his own analytics consulting firm, Singularity AI Labs, where he helped organizations get business impact using AI solutions. He was also the founding member of Fractal Sciences, the R&D division of Fractal Analytics, where his team developed new IP products and services for solving high-end client problems with AI and machine learning. Rishi has also led data sciences at OYO, where he built the team from scratch to drive ML solutions across the organization. He was instrumental in developing high-impact solutions like app personalization, ranking and sorting systems, marketing optimization, inventory optimizations, and overbooking systems, growth loops and referral drivers, customer retention and CRM automation, profitability optimization, and org-wide data insights products. Rishi holds a B.Tech degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is also proficient in various technologies like Python, search, recommendation systems, computer vision, deep learning, NLP, mobile, web, and infra.
