Rishika Bairolia is a skilled professional with experience in non-profit organizations, user experience market research, communication, and team management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Political Science and Industrial Organizational Psychology from Delhi University and is currently pursuing an MA in Social Entrepreneurship at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Rishika has a keen interest in building and implementing social impact projects and conducting research that involves first-hand interaction with stakeholders. She is currently working as a Placement Coordinator at Tata and has previously worked as a Research Intern at NITI Aayog (Skill Development & Employment Vertical) and as a Market Research Intern at The /Nudge Foundation (CSDE) Goonj. At NITI Aayog, Rishika worked on a collaborative thematic study on Opportunities of Livelihood to check migration from the hills and Enumeration and Valuation of the Economic Impact of Female Labour in the Hills. She provided research inputs on the scope for private sector intervention in the sanitation landscape in India and studied the social security system in China, assessing its implications in the Indian context. She also participated in a 2-day innovation bootcamp on building a country strategy on Apprenticeship in India with senior representatives and experts from International Labor Organisation (ILO), Ministry of Skill Development and Employment (MSDE, GOI), National Skill Development Council, Swiss International VET Academy, among others. At The /Nudge Foundation (CSDE) Goonj, Rishika closely worked with the Product Development Team of /Future Perfect in conducting a study to build a profile of current and potential customers for the program. She interviewed 15/29 students pan India, understanding their needs and aspirations, evaluating them on attributes like need or seriousness in getting a job, the constraints they face in their life (financial, social norms, access to technology), among others. She also provided valuable inputs on stakeholder behaviours/pain points and in designing research tools for the field research audience. Rishika's education history includes an MA in Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Political Science and Industrial Organizational Psychology from Delhi University, and an Intermediate degree in Humanities from Notre Dame Academy, Patna.
