Rishikeshavan Rengarajan is a data engineering professional and blockchain enthusiast with a passion for lifelong learning. He believes that great leaders are able to succeed because they continually learn, and he has adopted this mindset throughout his career. Rishikeshavan holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and has worked with both Citicorp Services and Amazon in the past. During his time at Citicorp Services, Rishikeshavan developed his skills in application programming, CI/CD, and data analytics. He also acted as a mentor to newly joined campus hires, sharing his knowledge of various technologies and financial jargons. Rishikeshavan is currently pursuing a Masters in Data Sciences and Business Analytics from ESSEC Business School and CentraleSupelec in France. As a Data Scientist at numa, Rishikeshavan is assessing how to exploit demand-based booking patterns to build the next-gen operating system in the hospitality industry. He is currently analyzing booking patterns to build a model to forecast pick-up curves, lead-time, and seasonality. Rishikeshavan has also worked on a variety of projects during his time at Citicorp Services. He implemented a generic framework using Spring Boot that could be used commonly by multiple applications to load data pertinent to their start-up from OracleDB. He also built a REST-enabled stream processing service that receives approximately 2000 updates per second and processes and stores them in a generic caching system which facilitates reduced turnaround time and fast throughput of bulk requests from critical clients. Rishikeshavan's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Anna University and a High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chinmaya Vidyalaya. He is also currently pursuing a Masters in Data Sciences and Business Analytics from ESSEC Business School and CentraleSupelec.
