Rita Kurian is a pragmatic and business-savvy People Specialist with over 4 years of experience in aligning people strategies with organizational objectives to create lasting value. She is currently working as People Operations | Global at Stripe and has previously worked as a People Specialist at Recko and a Consultant - People and Culture at Leap Finance. Rita is a qualified industrial psychology specialist with a passion for human behaviors and their impacts on the workplace. She has a proven ability to enable high-performing teams and individuals through dynamic recruitment (tech/non-tech and campus hiring) and employee engagement initiatives. She is committed to a people-first approach to enable accelerated business outcomes. At Recko, Rita managed the complete employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit. She ideated and organized employee engagement activities, was the owner of monthly payroll inputs, managed data and documents for HR audit and compliance check, ran bi-annual performance management, and worked directly with Co-founders and senior leadership. She also ran bi-weekly employee pulse surveys and other feedback surveys for the company and organized and launched several employer branding initiatives, such as hiring campaigns and goodies. Additionally, she handled recruitment for non-tech roles. At Leap Finance, Rita was the second member of the HR team and handled end-to-end recruitment for tech and non-tech roles. She ideated and structured the onboarding and hiring process for all roles and organized several employee engagement activities for the team. Rita holds an MSc in Psychology in HRDM and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Economics from Christ University. She is a go-getter who faces challenges head-on and is committed to delivering results.
