Prior to his role at Microsoft, Ritesh worked at Walmart Labs as a Senior Engineer in Development, where he was responsible for working on Bedrock, a horizontally scalable and distributed system based on the broker architectural pattern. Bedrock processes over 4 million events and 160,000+ files/messages every day, enabling seamless communication between various heterogeneous entities in Walmart's e-commerce ecosystem. Ritesh also has experience working at HP R&D, where he led the re-architecting of the ePrint platform, reducing the hardware requirement by ~93%. He also developed a Signaling Server for ePrint-II, which could serve 70,000 UDP requests/sec on a 4-core machine. Ritesh also developed tools necessary for functional and load testing of ePrint-II. The ePrint platform has 75 million+ printers registered to it and delivers over 1 million print jobs to these printers every day.
