Ritesh Ranjan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in executing and managing application and infrastructure security projects. He has extensive experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, web application security testing, infrastructure security testing, thick client web application penetration testing, web services penetration testing, mobile application penetration testing, providing remedial solutions, and handling end-to-end project and client management. Additionally, he has skills in SIEM solution implementation, handling of SOC operation (IR, Threat hunting and TI), and configuration auditing. Ritesh has worked in a start-up environment on different aspects of a project, including handling software development from scratch to end (deployment), security and quality analysis of applications and servers, and product administration. Currently, he is an Associate Consultant/Senior Specialist at AXA, where he is part of the Red Team - Security, Risk and Compliance Services, responsible for penetration testing assurance. In his past roles, Ritesh worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at PwC, where he focused on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. He dealt with different areas of cybersecurity, including VAPT (of application and infrastructure), auditing (network device configuration audit, ISO audit), SOC (implementation of SIEM and operation, incidents response), and forensic investigations. He has experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and infrastructure. He has worked with multiple clients from different domains and locations worldwide to help secure their assets (application and infrastructure) from cyber-attacks. Ritesh has a Postgraduate Diploma in IT Infrastructure, Systems, and Security from C-DAC, an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Shri Bhawani Niketan Inst. of Tech. & Management, Jaipur (RTU), and completed his Matric (10th) and Intermediate (12th) from Bihar School Examination Board. His tech stack includes test, research scientist, web, infra, mobile, and software engineer. He has relevant experience of 5.20 years.
