Rithik Sharma is a highly motivated Software Engineer with a passion for design and technology. He currently works at Simpl, where he has honed his skills in developing REST APIs using Golang and implementing Clean Code Architecture. Rithik is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur, where he earned a Master's degree in Economics. At Simpl, Rithik has been responsible for developing a REST API in Golang to reconcile user transaction data. He has implemented Clean Code Architecture, keeping separate controller layers connected by dependency injection. Rithik has also developed a CSV reader and scheduled background jobs to read and add user transaction data to the database for reconciliation. He has written unit tests for all the controller layers of the API and tested it extensively with mocking using the GoMock framework. Prior to joining Simpl, Rithik worked at BharatPe, where he developed REST APIs for UnityBank's core system using Spring Boot. He improved existing core transaction flows by introducing robust and extensive validation checks in the business logic. Rithik wrote unit tests for the business logic of the core transaction system with 90%+ coverage on SonarQube using JUnit & Mockito. Rithik's education background includes a Master's degree in Economics from IIT Kharagpur. He has also gained expertise in various technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring, and Golang.
