Ritik Mathur is a highly skilled Software Engineer currently working at Bloomberg LP in London. He is a recent graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee where he earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering. With a strong background in AI and deep learning, Ritik has quickly gained relevant experience in the field, having worked for over a year in the industry. Prior to his current role at Bloomberg, Ritik worked as a Software Development Engineering Intern at Oracle where he was responsible for developing an interactive Video Transcription tool for the Oracle Content and Experience platform using end-to-end deep learning based Automatic Speech Recognition and Text Summarization. He also fine-tuned Automatic Speech Recognition models such as Deep Speech, Jasper, and QuartzNet for Indian English accent and Automatic Text Summarization models like BERTSUM Extractive and T5 Transformer Abstractive. Ritik also has experience working as a Visiting Undergraduate Research Intern at Harvard University, where he contributed to the Visual Computing Group under Prof. Hanspeter Pfister. His work involved developing a pipeline for producing a large scale Unsupervised Video Object Segmentation dataset for multi-scene, long-term, cross-shot, occluded videos. He also worked on simultaneous detection, segmentation, and tracking of instances in video frames using Space-Time Memory Network (STM). Ritik's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where he graduated in 2022. He also attended Lal Bahadur Shastri Senior Secondary School in Kota and Birla Shiksha Kendra Senior Secondary School in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
