Ritvik Saraf is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of causing large scale production outages. He is currently working as an SDE 2 at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. With almost 7 years of relevant experience, Ritvik has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry. Before joining Oracle, Ritvik worked at Samsung as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. At Samsung, he was responsible for designing and implementing REST APIs for the bill payments server, creating a library for playing logback logs to Kafka, and designing and implementing Kafka streaming pipeline for rewards server. He also worked on Samsung Pay Rewards Server and Samsung Pay Gift Cards Server, where he designed and implemented REST APIs using Java, Kafka, Spring, Springboot, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Gitlab, and Sonarqube. Ritvik completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, in 2016.
