Ritwik Raj is a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for backend development. He is currently working as a Backend Developer at Mitkat Advisory, where he has been involved in the development of a news scraper capable of extracting news from around 10,000 news sites using Python. He has also devised a technique to scrape all the news sites in parallel, implemented the code to connect with RDS (MySQL), and connected with DynamoDB using boto3 library to write all the extracted news efficiently using Batch Write. Additionally, he has developed a testing code to check if all the input parameters for a particular site are correct or not in Python and created a REST API using Django for the testing code. Ritwik is a graduate of BIT MESRA with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering. Prior to joining Mitkat, he worked as a Project Engineer at Wipro, where he worked in the backend team on solving card payment issues and completed his CPP training. With a keen interest in coding and learning new technologies, Ritwik is always looking to explore and gather as much knowledge as possible. He has experience working with a range of technologies, including AWS, MySQL, Python, Django, ML, Web, NLP, MongoDB, and Flask. Ritwik is a dedicated and hardworking individual with 1.86 years of relevant experience. He is passionate about his work and strives to deliver high-quality results.
