Ritwik Sahoo is the Founder and CEO of PurplePatch Tech, a full-stack IT services company that helps startups go from zero to one. He has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, with a background in mechanical engineering. Prior to starting PurplePatch Tech, Ritwik co-founded VenueMonk.com, an online venue booking portal that connects customers with the best venues in their city based on their unique requirements. As the Co-Founder and CTO of VenueMonk, he was responsible for the overall technology stack, user interface, and user experience of the product, including complementing services like graphics, IT systems, and business analytics. Before his entrepreneurial journey, Ritwik worked as a Design Engineer at Tata Technologies, where he designed and developed CAD models and drawings in Creo, Catia, and Autodesk Inventor. He was involved in designing and developing from scratch design for prototype machines and also had experience in product costing and benchmarking processes for mechanical products with competitor products. At PurplePatch Tech, Ritwik leads a team of experts in product design, user experience research, web design, web application engineering, mobile app engineering, and developer operations. The company's goal is to make technology adoption simple and effective for companies of all sizes. Ritwik's tech stack includes web and mobile development, product design, research science, senior software engineering, and search. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a High School Certification from Vishwa Bharti Public School.
