Ritwik Tiwari is a skilled software engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions. He is currently working as a Software Engineer (Backend) at getwork, where he has made significant contributions to the development of a content-based recommendation engine that powers recruitment. He has also implemented an encrypted token-based authentication system, made libraries that facilitate communication between microservices, and developed a priority queue-based email queue to prevent maximum sending rate throttle at AWS SES. Ritwik has played a major role in breaking monolith to microservices, making him a valuable asset to any team. Prior to his current role, Ritwik worked as a freelance software engineer, building minimum viable products for multiple startup companies using Django, Flask, and MySQL. He has also served as Chairperson at IEEE JUIT Student Branch, where he oversaw program execution, exhibits, sponsors, operations, and supervision of more than 80 student members. He played a key role in organizing three international IEEE conferences, one national symposium, workshops, boot camps, and R&D Expo 2018. His exceptional leadership skills earned him the IEEE Delhi Section Outstanding Student Volunteer Award and IEEE Delhi Section Best Student Award. Ritwik holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Jaypee University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which he is expected to complete by December 2023. He has a strong background in software engineering, microservices, AWS, Redis, RabbitMQ, Python, Django, and Flask. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Ritwik is looking for full-time opportunities starting May 2023.
