Ritwiz Sinha is a passionate Software Engineer currently working at Bloomberg. With a love for software development, Ritwiz enjoys working with new and interesting technologies in the market. He has a diverse experience in programming languages ranging from the age-old and everyone's favorite C and C++ to the less favorite ones like PHP to the new and raging ones like python, javascript, and typescript. Ritwiz's experience in the former two comes from competitive programming which he enjoys as much as a bad habit, while the latter ones come from the various projects he has undertaken. An avid Linux enthusiast, Ritwiz loves to tweak with all its functionalities. Trying out various distributions for Linux and tweaking configs for window and tile managers is his favorite pastime. Currently, Ritwiz is working as a Linux Foundation Mentee at CNCF and has worked on the Vitess SQL Parser. He helped add support for functions and expressions in the grammar from MySQL 5.7 and MySQL 8.0 releases and improved the test coverage and for the parser. Ritwiz has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Optum and Habitat. At Habitat, Ritwiz was a Core Team member working to help build a next-generation Edtech startup. His role included adding new features to the product and involved working with Javascript technologies including React, Meteor, and Node.js. Ritwiz holds a Btech degree in CSE from Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, and completed his 12th grade from Oxford Senior Secondary School in Delhi, India. With relevant experience of 0.95 years, Ritwiz's tech stack includes Software Engineering, MySQL, SQL, test, Javascript, Typescript, PHP, and Python. Ritwiz is a highly motivated individual with a passion for software development and a desire to work with new and innovative technologies.
