Riya Bhatia is a skilled DevOps Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with over 3.7 years of experience in the FinTech industry. She is currently working at MoneyTap as a DevOps Engineer, where she is responsible for building and managing the AWS foundation platform to enable application deployment. Riya is proficient in monitoring infrastructure performance, building monitors and alerts using tools like Sensu, Squadcast, Sumo Logic, Sentry and Scalyr, and integrating them with slack where needed. She also manages user access on AWS, other tools, and infrastructure, and ensures compliance with operational risk standards. Riya has a good understanding of Trade Management life cycle and Anvil 9 solution in the financial domain, specifically Bonds/ Futures/ Repo trading. Prior to joining MoneyTap, she worked as a Senior Analyst at ION, where she interacted with investment bank clients directly to provide workarounds and on-call resolution in P1 incidents. She also coded scripts to automate the analysis of frequent issues in core components, maintained the Trading Platform for Hosted Clients, and continuously monitored the Production platform to troubleshoot latency, if any. Riya's technical skills include SRE, DevOps, AWS, infra, SQL, CI/CD, test, integration, Python, Javascript, MySQL, search, and web. She has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from the University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USICT), where she graduated in 2019. She also has experience as a Summer Intern at Nagarro, where she developed and deployed a Book Resale web app made using Angular 6, Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL. Riya has strong analytical skills and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to new processes and environments proficiently.
