Riya Maan is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, she is working as a Junior Software Engineer at Azena - A Bosch IoT Startup, where she is involved in developing innovative software solutions. Riya has a strong academic background, having completed her Masters in Computer Science from Technische Universiteit Delft in 2019. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra in 2017. She also completed her schooling from Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. During her academic years, Riya gained valuable experience through various internships. She worked as an Intern at ASML, where she investigated alternative 3D modelling (CAD) kernel for existing modeling engine. She investigated several kernels which serve as modelling engine behind popular CAD software, including ACIS, ParaSolid, CGM and C3D. This included using user interface, scripting languages and libraries to test functionalities provided by these kernels. She also worked as a Summer Intern at IIIT Allahabad, where she experimented with contour-based features and thinning algorithms for character recognition and worked on the improvement of thinning algorithm. Riya is proficient in various software engineering technologies and tools. She has experience in Software Engineering and Testing. She is also familiar with different programming languages, including Java, C++, and Python.
