Riya has a diverse background, having previously worked as a Security Intelligence Intern at Atlassian and as a Software Engineer at Square. In both roles, she has developed AWS micro-services using Flask and Celery to generate and display metrics on fired detection alerts. She has also triaged security alerts to determine if they were false or true positives and helped in modifying Splunk alerts used for threat detection. Riya is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned a Master's degree in Cybersecurity. She also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Indus University. Her education and work experience have equipped her with a strong technical skill set, including expertise in AWS, ML, Software Engineering, Microservices, Flask, and infra.
