Riyaz Kagzi is an experienced software developer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Taghash, where he is building the next-gen portfolio management software suite for Venture Capital / Private Equity firms. Riyaz has led the development of an integrated information-reporting system that allows users to seamlessly upload company-reported metrics, process them, and run analytical queries against the reported data. He has also built several other integrations with the existing deal management system, including an integration over WhatsApp, provided as a chatbot service, that allowed users to quickly create and manage their deals over a simple and intuitive chat interface. Riyaz has previously worked at Cloudcover as an Associate Software Engineer, where he worked on building an internal, security-focused cloud platform. He was required to perform integration with many hosted services in Amazon Web Services to automate log and report collection. He also worked on integrating with several of Amazon CodeStar services to provide a single-click deployment experience (while still complying with the security framework) to the users of the platform. As part of building the security framework, he was also tasked with forking, developing and maintaining a version of Cloud Custodian. Riyaz has also worked as an Application Developer Contract at Chip, where his primary focus was to work on research & development of a proof-of-concept lending platform. Along with a team of five others, they built and deployed the platform to a set of alpha testers and implemented integrations with various third-parties including credit bureaus, financial intermediaries and payment processors. Riyaz holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application with a specialization in Android and Web development from Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
