Riyaz M. is an experienced Data Science practitioner with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Data Analysis, Exploratory Data Analysis, NLP, SQL, PowerBI, and Tableau. He is currently working as a Technical Lead - AI ML at HCL, where he is responsible for predicting failures of manufactured parts to improve the manufacturing process. Riyaz has performed EDA using Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, conducted univariate & bivariate data analysis, and handled missing values, outliers, and imbalanced data. He has also performed feature selection by using PCA and Pearson Correlation, one hot encoding for categorical features, and scaling features by Standard Scaler, Min-Max Scaler, or Robust Scaler as per the requirement. Riyaz has worked on classification problems and used ML modeling with Logistic Regression with Stratified K-Fold Cross-Validation, Decision Tree, Random Forest, SVM, and KNN, with Random Forest turning out to be the most accurate. He has improved the accuracy of models by using Hyperparameter Tuning by using Grid Search CV. Before joining HCL, Riyaz worked as Deputy Engineer at Tata, where he managed inventory using SQL Server and designed sheet metal brackets to mount brake aggregate components. He also worked as a Designer II at Schlumberger, where he provided design support to technology centers located in France and various Wireline and Slickline tools. Riyaz has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and a Diploma in Automobile Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College, Anantapur. He has a relevant experience of 6.20 years and possesses a Tech Stack that includes ML, Senior Software Engineering, AI, NLP, Random Forest, SQL, Search, SVM, Seaborn, Deep Learning, Data Scientist, Pandas, Designer, Spring, Computer Vision, and Integration.
