Riyaz Panjwani is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Apple with over 4 years of professional experience building distributed and scalable systems. Flume is a data processing solution within the company that currently supports millions of pipeline executions per day and has replaced MapReduce for its ease of use. Riyaz has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where he taught courses on Statistics for Business Analytics, Applied Deep Learning, Software Architecture, and Data Intensive and Scalable Systems. Riyaz's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University. He also completed his high school education from St. Peter's Central Public School and attended Sri Chaitanya College of Education for his PCM studies.
