Rizul Bansal is a skilled Software Engineer and Data Scientist with 0.86 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as an SDE-1 at Zomato, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that help the company deliver quality services to its customers. Rizul completed his Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2022. During his time at IIT, he gained a strong foundation in software engineering, data science, and research. Before joining Zomato, Rizul worked as a Data Scientist at Lykiq Labs Private Limited. Here, he designed and optimized an effective model for the scheduling of Electric Vehicles (EVs) to a charging station. He developed a heuristic approach based Genetic Algorithm model in python on the Chinese EV station dataset. He also optimized the cost, queueing time, and the number of EVs charged in one hour. Rizul used Roulette Wheel Selection, Crossover, Mutation, and Island Model techniques to achieve this. He also implemented conventional scheduling and allocation models for the base fitness accuracy. Rizul is proficient in several programming languages, including Python. He has excellent problem-solving skills and is always looking for innovative ways to improve his work.
