Rnjai Lamba is a seasoned technology executive and startup advisor with almost a decade of experience in CTO and hands-on engineering roles with startups in Mexico and India. As the former CTO of Mexico's largest B2C payments platform, UnDosTres, he built and scaled an engineering organization from scratch to 40 employees across three time zones, leading the delivery and scaling of platforms, mobile apps, and machine learning solutions to support the business as it grew sales 12x with millions of users. Rnjai is driven by high standards for effectiveness and efficiency, and a desire to build reliable and maintainable fault-tolerant distributed systems used worldwide. He is skilled in building high performing distributed teams in multicultural environments, with a keen eye for talent. His first five hires at UnDosTres are currently serving in CTO or "Head of" roles. Aside from his leadership skills, Rnjai is also actively involved in the startup community, serving as a judge/mentor at accelerators and competitions like Seedstars and Mass Challenge. He is an advisor to multiple startup CEOs and an organizer of a hackathon in Mexico during Covid. In 2022, he was named to On Deck's Founder Fellowship program, and he has published multiple articles on Forbes. Currently seeking CTO roles at Series A/B companies, Rnjai founded Oxytocin to deliver technology projects as a consultant. To date, he has hired 50 engineers and delivered 10 projects for companies with up to $10M annual revenue across five countries. His engagements included two interim-CTO roles. With a degree in Computer Science from Delhi College of Engineering, Rnjai also holds a Fellow (LF5) from Latitud and a Fellow (ODF10) from On Deck. He is well-versed in a range of technologies, including Senior Software Engineer, ML, Mobile, AWS, test, iOS, and infra.
