Rob Green is a highly experienced Vice President of Technology at NuWave Communications, Inc, with almost 30 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong background in product management, senior software engineering, and infrastructure development, and is proficient in AWS, SRE, Kubernetes, Kafka, DevOps, and testing. Rob has worked with several prominent companies in the past, including Aspect Software and Voxeo, where he held the positions of Principal Cloud Architect and Chief Network Architect, respectively. At Aspect Software, Rob was responsible for architecting highly available horizontal scaling designs for failure principals using both AWS native and Cloud-neutral technology. He also worked closely with SRE, engineering, and other architects to push DevOps mentality throughout the company. Rob played a key role in evaluating emerging technologies, designing and documenting them, and implementing them with hand-off to production teams. He also conducted due diligence and technical feasibility studies for several acquisitions, and worked with product management and engineering to architect a path from legacy premise products into a cloud-friendly deployment. At Voxeo, Rob designed and implemented internal configuration and orchestration solutions to realize more reliable and faster deployments. He was responsible for budget planning for data centers and AWS expansions, and for managing all non-personnel related aspects of data centers (NOC owned by a different team). Rob also designed a plan to migrate from physical servers to virtualization and worked with co-location providers to expand services when needed. He worked with vendors to reduce contractual costs and reviewed and approved change management requests for production. Rob holds a degree from the University of Central Florida, where he studied from 1991 to 1993. He has a proven track record of success in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions, evaluating emerging technologies, and managing large-scale data centers.
