Rob Phoenix is an experienced Frontend Developer currently working at Utility Warehouse. With over 12 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of delivering high-quality UIs and maintaining design systems. At his current role, Rob is part of the Home Services team and is responsible for maintaining UW's customer-focused Design System. He works closely with other teams to build React components and collaborates with the Design & UX team to develop necessary foundations and guidelines. Additionally, Rob is building applications for Broadband services for use by customers and internal support staff. He is also developing an internal React component library for back-office applications. Prior to joining UW, Rob worked as a Frontend Developer and Software Developer at bet365. In his role as a Frontend Developer, he was responsible for designing and developing UIs for internal forensic monitor systems. He was focused on Design Systems, React, CSS-in-JS, TypeScript & Semantic HTML. As a Software Developer, Rob built forensic monitoring systems in Go. Rob holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Networking from Glyndwr University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art: Painting & Photography from Bath Spa University. His technical skills include Frontend, Typescript, and Software Engineering.
