Rob Rhoads is a Senior Engineer, End User Computing at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where he manages Windows updates end-to-end through SCCM ADRs, collaborates with Info Security to mitigate risk through Qualys reporting, and packages, tests and deploys Windows applications throughout SCCM environment. He also implements & designs OSD images, Task Sequences, App management & Update management, performs device driver and BIOS upgrades through SCCM, and utilizes Powershell for scripting packages and miscellaneous engineering tasks. Rob is an End User Computing resource for AWS VDI implementation, building Gold VDI image and integrating it with Configuration Manager. He also designs and builds Unified Endpoint Management with Intune, preparing for migration of on-premise ConfigMgr to Azure Cloud based Intune for MDM and Workstation management. Additionally, he performs hands-on management of Active Directory Forest/Domain/OU/User/Computers and maintains virtualized test fleet using VMware vSphere, utilizing Microsoft App-V to solve complex compatibility issues while maintaining a secure client. Prior to joining Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Rob was the Owner of Rhoadstech, where he provided Macintosh and Windows consulting, troubleshooting, imaging and repair, as well as iOS and Android phone and tablet configuration and repair, and application installation and support. He was also a Sr. Engineer, Client Engineering at Marvell Semiconductor, where he provided hybrid Windows and macOS support to mixed environment with an emphasis on JAMF Pro and SCCM Administration. Rob holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Certificate in Project Management from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. He has 19.70 years of relevant experience and is skilled in test, AWS, Azure, infra, and integration.
