Rob Sterner is a highly experienced senior application engineer with over 20 years of relevant experience. He is a full stack web developer with expertise in Ruby/Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, and node.js/JavaScript. Rob has contributed to web and native user interface development and designed and implemented backend interfaces between various services such as Twilio, Apple Push Notification Service/Google Cloud Messaging, and SFDC. He is well-versed in setting up, configuring, automating, and maintaining production infrastructure on Amazon Web Services, which makes him a highly versatile developer. Currently, Rob is also a call firefighter at Boxford Fire Department, where he obtained Firefighter I/II certification via the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighter Academy, EMT-B certification via NSCC, and Hazmat OLR certification via the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighter Academy.
