Robbie Thedford is a seasoned Product Engineer and Professional Services Consultant with over 19 years of experience in Pro Services, Technical Support, IT Operations, Firewalls, WAN Optimization, and SDWAN. He is currently working as a Principal Network Engineer at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where he is responsible for hands-on service of various Aruba product lines. He handles projects ranging from Clearpass to AOS-CX and AOS-S Switching, Aruba WIFI and controllers, to Aruba SD-WAN services. Robbie is an accomplished Post-Sales "Professional Services" Engineer who analyzes business requirements, coupled with product capabilities, to develop permanent solutions. He has been involved in major accounts such as VmWare, Apple, Google, and many others. He has installed numerous architectures with SDWAN, alongside leveraging Azure and AWS in the environment. Robbie is an accomplished System Engineer who has performed POC's, designed and drove to close several large customers, and participated in solving numerous business problems that led to large sales. He has provided consulting services to various organizations, successful implementations with Steelhead and SteelConnect SD-WAN product lines, and ensured that Professional Services revenue goals are met. Robbie has experience in creating training programs from scratch and has seen it to fruition in the early days of a startup. He has helped train new employees and new customers alike. He has worked as a Solutions Consultant - Professional Services at Riverbed Technology, where he performed a wide variety of solution implementations across multiple product lines, including SteelConnect SD-WAN, Steelhead Wan Optimization deployments, and associated services. Robbie has also worked as a Senior Escalation Engineer at Riverbed Technology, where he was a part of a dynamic and proactive group that handled higher tier customer technical issues with the Steelhead wan optimization product and the SteelConnect SD-WAN product.
