Robert Farrow is a Full Stack Data Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field. He possesses a wide range of technical skills and expertise in technologies such as Spark, Python, Terraform, Golang, SQL Server, AWS, Pandas, Hadoop, Elastic MapReduce, Glue, Athena, Sci-kit Learn, Tensorflow, Redshift, Data Warehousing, Git/SVN, BI Tooling, VB, Data Modelling, Data Visualisation, and Design Patterns for OOP. Currently, Robert works at htk as a Full Stack Data Engineer, where his responsibilities include designing, integrating, and creating Autopilot for scalable feature engineering, machine learning, and analytics solutions into the Horizon Platform. He has also developed Dev-ops processes, automated infrastructure deployment using Terraform, built a testing library from scratch, full documentation and distribution of information, and of course, the actual data engineering code built principally using the spark/athena/glue/emr/lambda stack on python. Robert's past experiences include working at Marsh McLennan as a Data/MI Developer and at NHS as a Business Intelligence Programmer. He has also pursued a degree in Chemistry BSc from UCL and Sciences from Alton College. Robert is currently working on a personal project called Younify, where he is developing a program to unify Spotify and YouTube. He has recently come back to this project after a hiatus and is rebuilding it from scratch using the new knowledge in Python he has acquired at his recent role. Robert's technical skills and relevant experience make him a valuable asset to any team in the field of data engineering.
