Robert O'Toole is an experienced software engineering leader with over 16 years of experience in building web and mobile apps used by millions of users across the world. He has a strong passion for mobile and the cryptocurrency industry. Currently, he is working as an Engineering Manager at Toast, Inc. where he manages multiple full-stack mobile teams responsible for placing and fulfilling millions of orders daily. He also builds and maintains features in their Android point of sale system while simultaneously delivering cross-team initiatives and refactoring efforts around best practices and clean architecture patterns. Robert has led teams of over 15 contributors and directly managed engineers from intern to principal to first-line manager.
