Robert Parsons is a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with over 24 years of experience in managing and delivering all facets of the recruiting lifecycle. He has a strong background in developing and delivering recruiting materials, job descriptions, compensation frameworks, retention plans, performance improvement, and probationary plans. Robert has experience working across a variety of sectors, including public, information technology, service delivery, and manufacturing. Currently, Robert serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager at Nova Networks, where he is responsible for overseeing the company's talent recruitment, the entire hiring process, and the employee retention program. He manages the recruitment life-cycle process, develops and implements new talent attraction strategies, collaborates with senior management to improve the employee experience, and partners with hiring managers to assess needs and plan talent acquisition strategies. Robert also develops and implements new approaches to employee retention in a competitive environment, manages relationships with staffing firms, and develops, monitors, and reports metrics on hiring and retention. He also partnered with external consultants to pre-qualify them for both current and upcoming contract opportunities, attended daily and weekly operational meetings to review current company status and current and future requirements, provided advice and recommendations regarding talent acquisition, developed and executed sourcing plans from various sources, and maintained relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Robert holds a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management from St. Lawrence College.
