Robert Szarvas is a young and ambitious Software Engineer and Computer Science Teacher with a passion for algorithms, programming fundamentals, teaching, project management, and making the world a better place. He currently works as a Software Engineer at National Instruments, where he has been involved in various projects such as Simulink models integration in VeriStand, researching VeriStand UI automation through gRPC, and TestStand custom steps meant for automating VeriStand usage. He also worked full-time on an internal data processing engine and has used development languages and tools such as C#, LabVIEW, C++, and Python within his teams. Robert has also held several roles at National Instruments, including Scrum Master, where he facilitated Scrum ceremonies, owned the development process, found solutions for blockers, and worked closely with the product owner, technical lead, and manager in order to deliver work according to priorities. He also worked as a Software Engineer Intern, where he worked on various bugs and features related to real-time testing and data acquisition/processing within VeriStand product. Robert has a Master's degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca. He also has a high school diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colegiul Național "Moise Nicoară". Robert's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering, Python, Integration, and UI. With 6.20 years of relevant experience, Robert is a passionate and driven individual who brings a fresh and unique perspective to everything he does.
