Robin Malhotra is an experienced Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the internet industry. Currently working as a Software Engineer - II at CaratLane, a Tanishq partnership, he is responsible for handling finance modules. He is skilled in various technologies including Node.js, Javascript, C++, Retrofit, Java, REST API, and Android Development. Robin holds a Master of Technology - MTech degree in Computer Science from Punjabi University, where he completed his studies in 2019. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Tech., which he completed in 2016. Prior to that, he completed his schooling from Swami Sant Dass Public School in 2008. Robin has worked with Jugnoo in the past, where he served as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer. During his time there, he was responsible for designing and implementing optimized architecture for features to be merged in the product. He also handled back-end development using Node.js and Android development, building high-quality and optimized REST APIs, making optimal database models using MySQL, payment gateways, and rental bike service. He also integrated multiple IOT devices with the bike and server and optimized in-ride routes and location packets. Additionally, he worked on one-to-one and one-to-many chat and comments models using Node.js and MySQL. Robin is a qualified UGC NET for Assistant Professor. He possesses a strong engineering background and has a keen interest in software engineering, Javascript, Android, image processing, NodeJS, Typescript, Java, MySQL, integration, and backend.
