Robin Rosario is a highly experienced Secretary General at the U.S.-India Importers’ Council (USIIC), with over 20 years of relevant experience in the field. His key duties include conceptualization, sponsorships, and execution of IPs, events, delegations, seminars, and other activities of the Council. He is also responsible for marketing strategies, communications, and media relations, as well as increasing the membership base and member relationships. Robin has established himself as a credible player in the facilitation of US India trade and investments since the USIIC's inception in 2011. The USIIC is the leading organization assisting government bodies, industry associations, corporates, agents, and importers in India and American exporters based in the United States, in the mutually beneficial exchange of products, services, and technologies, and in forging meaningful trade partnerships through dissemination of practical and relevant information and through the creation of networking platforms. The USIIC is headquartered in Mumbai with Chapters in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Pune, and Washington DC. Previously, Robin has worked as AGM Sales (Artist Aloud Dept.) at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Private Ltd., and as Head – Sponsorship Sales at UBM India Pvt Ltd. He has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management from the National Institute of Event Management, Mumbai, and a 5-year Law Degree Course (LLB) from Government Law College, Mumbai. Robin's education history includes a Higher Secondary Certificate in Arts from Bhavans College, Mumbai, and a Senior Secondary Certificate from Don Bosco, Mumbai. He has also assisted SME, MSME, and startup companies in international trade formalities and agreements, and has interacted with leading domestic and multinational corporations.
