Robin Tak is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working as an Associate Developer Trainee at Oracle, Robin is responsible for developing the MapMyDay Widget. As part of the engineering team, Robin has worked on building a landing page for the Banker that shows predicted and actual transaction trends on an hourly basis. Robin has also developed back-end application services for making predictions using WEKA, a machine learning algorithm. Prior to his current role, Robin worked as an Application Developer at Oracle, where he was responsible for developing applications for the Oracle Banking Platform (OBP). As part of the engineering team, Robin worked on building back-end application services using J2SE/J2EE, Hibernate ORM, and Oracle 11g. He also implemented business transfer functionality in the Java back-end and integrated it to run in the OBP batch framework. Robin has experience working with other technologies from the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite of products such as Oracle SOA, Oracle JDeveloper, and Weblogic Server. He also developed and tested Oracle BAM (Oracle Business Activity Monitoring) from scratch for the stakeholders of the bank. Before joining Oracle, Robin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bank of America. Robin holds a Bachelor's degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, where he studied from 2009 to 2013. He also attended Mahaveer Public School. Robin is skilled in a wide range of technologies, including React Native, ML, iOS, Mobile, Javascript, AWS, Spark, test, Research Scientist, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spring Boot, Spring, and Senior Software Engineer.
