Rohan Garg is a talented software developer from India with a passion for Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, and participating in hackathons. Rohan's interest in coding was sparked when he witnessed the energy and excitement of the developer community at overnight hackathons. Since then, he has honed his skills through self-training and hands-on experience. He started his career as a software development intern at Coding Ninjas, where he learned Ruby on Rails and built his first CRUD dashboard for a Learning Management System. After his internship, Rohan joined Foxy as a full-stack developer, where he played a critical role in building the Order Management System from scratch and integrating it with various systems. He also optimized the API's speed by almost 10x times and gained experience with AWS and EC2 instances. As the second engineer on the team, Rohan collaborated closely with the CTO and other product managers, gaining valuable experience in product discovery and technical research. Rohan is currently a software engineer at EkAnek, where he continues to leverage his skills in Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, and AWS. He has also gained experience in data science and research, working on changing the search algorithm for their e-commerce platform and understanding user behavior. Rohan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Maharaja Agrasen University.
