Rohan Kamath is a passionate and curious individual who is always eager to learn new things. With over 11 years of experience in the tech industry, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including Microsoft and Amazon. Currently, he is a Product Lead at Stripe, where he is leading the space for financial accounts, transactions, and end-to-end API flows for payouts. Rohan is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned his MS in Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University. In his current role at Stripe, Rohan is responsible for building the core foundational layer of Global Accounts to support the future of Stripe in three specific ways. He enables large enterprise customers, global creator economy segments, and multi-entity businesses to model, expand, and manage their businesses while Stripe takes care of their payment needs. He also empowers SMBs, enterprise admins, and every local corner store to have a delightful dashboard experience using Stripe to manage their business accounts. Additionally, he is building a strong and powerful set of API primitives as Stripe's future bedrock that empower developers to seamlessly integrate across the entire ecosystem with just a few lines of code. When not working, Rohan spends most of his time outdoors hiking and birding in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Pk and his puppy Albus. He is an avid bird watcher, having started birding since he was six years old. Rohan is also an obsessive reader, consistently reading books daily, and has written on Quora and LinkedIn. Rohan is a software engineer and product manager with a strong background in access control, identity management, secrets management, and security controls. He is extremely passionate about learning new things and is always looking for ways to improve his skills. While he thinks he’s sarcastic and hilarious, most people find him obnoxious and annoying.
