Rohan M is a highly skilled software engineer with a wealth of experience in both backend and frontend development. With a strong background in object-oriented design, distributed systems, and databases, he has also demonstrated expertise in Javascript, Svelte, React/Redux, state management, GraphQL, and CSS. Currently working as a Software Engineer at SmartNews, Inc., Rohan has previously held positions as a Software Development Engineer-2 at Flipkart and Tech Lead at Clarisights. He has also worked as a Mentor at Scaler Academy, where he shared his knowledge and experience with aspiring developers. During his time at Flipkart, Rohan was part of the subscription/payments team, where he developed billing, payments, and subscription microservices using Java, Dropwizard, Hibernate, MySQL, Redis, and Flipkart Cloud Platform. He also built a billing microservice for subscriptions from scratch and contributed to Flipkart MAPI (backend for frontend) tech stack using Spring Boot. Rohan holds a Mobile Web Specialist Nanodegree from Udacity and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from RTU. He is an open-source contributor and is passionate about web development.
