Rohan Maity is an experienced software engineer with a passion for open source technology. He is currently working at Motive as a Software Engineer (Android), where he is responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications. Before joining Motive, Rohan worked at Red Hat as an Associate Software Engineer, where he gained valuable experience in software development. Rohan is also a Google Summer of Code (GSoC) and Google Code-in (GCI) mentor at JBoss. During his time as a mentor, he has helped students work on JBoss community projects and has guided them in working in an open source culture. He has also mentored students for the Quarkus project, where he helped improve Gradle support using Java build tools and Gradle. Rohan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. He has a strong technical skill set, with expertise in Android, Docker, and search technologies. In addition to his technical expertise, Rohan is also a food enthusiast and loves trying new dishes, especially Ramen.
