Rohan Mallya is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at EdgeVerve with over 4 years of experience as a Software Developer. He is passionate about writing code to build quality products and is always open to experimenting with new frameworks and languages. Rohan's expertise lies in improving Finacle, a Digital Banking Suite, by writing code and pushing enhancements to common components used across the platform. Rohan has co-piloted the conceptualization and development of Reporting and Authentication microservices and currently maintains them. He is comfortable working with Spring Boot and Oracle/Postgres databases primarily. On the deployment side, he has experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Istio Service Meshes. He has also used RabbitMQ and Kafka as message brokers to build services capable of handling requests asynchronously. Rohan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PES University and has also studied Electronics at Sri Kumaran Children's Home. He completed his high school education at Carmel High School. Rohan has worked as a Product Engineer at EdgeVerve and as a Student Developer at Crio.do, where he gained experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot framework. He also won the 3rd place at the Capstone event conducted by Crio during their experience program.
