Rohan Mayya is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for open infrastructure. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Rohan has worked on a variety of game and full-stack development projects using technologies such as Unity, Mirror, PlayFab, MERN, and Spring. Currently working as a Software Engineer at portals, Rohan is responsible for building and scaling virtual experiences for hundreds of thousands of users using Unity, Mirror, React (NextJS), and WebGL. In the past, Rohan has worked as a Software Engineer at scenes previously avalon meta, where he built a full-fledged engineering solution for a Metaverse channel using Unity, React Native, and React. He also helped set up and scale a reverse proxy using NGINX for web traffic. Rohan has also worked as a Software Developer Intern at kickdrum, where he helped add features to and maintain a Jira plugin used by 20,000+ users. He wrote new components in AngularJS and fixed Atlassian vulnerabilities in the backend Spring codebase. Rohan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from b. m. s. college of engineering, where he graduated in 2021. He is skilled in Software Engineering, Spring, Web, infra, Integration, React Native, Android, and Backend development. Rohan is committed to contributing to the community and has published several tutorials on his YouTube channel, which is open-source on his GitHub.
