Rohan Poddar is an Imagineer at Fractal, with a strong background in AI and Machine Learning. He has over 2 years of relevant experience in the field and has worked on a variety of projects in his past roles. During his time as an AI/ML Intern at Dhwani Rural Information Systems, Rohan created and implemented machine learning models for facial recognition and identification, custom object identification, measuring dimensions of objects in images, pothole detection and classification of Indian roads, license plate recognition from video, document classification using k-means clustering, and text summary generation for long passages and articles. He also created visualizations and dashboards using Python, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Apache Superset, and compared the three BI tools for ease of use and insights the visualizations can provide. Rohan also has experience as a Full-stack Developer at X-Factor, where he completed a full stack web development course using Java, Spring, and Angular JS to create a food delivery website. Rohan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Ashoka University, as well as a Course on Data Science and Big Data Analytics from LSE. He also completed the All India Senior School Certificate Examination in Science from Heritage Xperiential Learning School and a P.G.D.A in Ashoka Scholars Program in Computer Science from Ashoka University.
