Rohan Raj is a skilled Data Analyst with experience in Machine Learning, Sentiment Analysis, Recommendation systems, Frontend development, OpenCV, Scikit, Django, Pandas, and Web development. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. Currently working at Pingahla, Rohan has 1.44 years of relevant experience. In his previous role at TCS, he developed a web application for creating Machine Learning models, automated the process of creating Machine Learning models on datasets from UCI repository, and used Django for website and Scikit-Learn for Machine Learning Algorithms. He also performed sentiment analysis on data extracted from Twitter using Tweepy API and created a CF Recommendation system using PySpark for Retails Product using a dataset of 100k ratings and 1682 users. Rohan also worked on a Text-Recognition program for extracting text from Images, created a program to select text from images using OpenCV and Pytesseract, displayed the text on the screen, and also enclosed the recognized text under a square. Apart from his technical skills, Rohan has experience in event management, having worked as an Assistant Manager at Radiance. He was part of a team of nine members and worked on the conceptualization of an annual festival of Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay, with a footfall of 500+ students. He managed resources for the proper execution of events, organized various competitions like Robo-War among students from different colleges in India, and helped in organizing and management of different Workshop and Lectures on various research field by professors from prestigious colleges. Rohan's technical skills and event management experience make him a valuable asset to any organization.
