Rohan Sadale is an accomplished Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working at Veritas, he has made significant contributions to the development of the Appliance Software Upgrade Management (ASUM) framework, which provides zero-downtime rolling upgrade functionality for platform and application upgrades. He has also designed an innovative solution for unit/integration testing of NetBackup containers, which includes the ability to spin up multiple NetBackup instances in a sandbox environment using private IP addresses and easy-to-add container-based unit tests. Rohan has been a key contributor in developing a multi-tenancy solution for Flex Appliance, a highly available and scalable solution that supports multiple instances of NetBackup services and large-scale deployments using containers and Flexible Storage Sharing. His main contributions include end-to-end design and development of storage resize (expand and shrink) feature and containerizing NetBackup applications. Prior to his current role, Rohan worked as a Data Science Intern at Veritas, where he designed a data collection pipeline to extract appliance health information from MongoDB and unstructured archived log files. He also performed Exploratory Data Analytics on appliance data to understand failure correlations and trends/patterns in their performance over time. In addition, he has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where he was responsible for creating lab content and programming assignments, delivering lectures, maintaining course websites, and leading class discussions. Rohan holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune.
