Rohan Saini is a passionate and curious Technical Lead and Founding Member at PowerSchool, with a strong belief in the power of technology to simplify lives and enable people to overcome obstacles. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Rohan has built and led successful Cloud Operations programs for the newly set up India COE. He has also led a team of 12 engineers in a small subteam under the umbrella of PowerSchool Unified Insights, utilizing agile scrum methodology, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, refining and leading the product backlog delivery, and advocating for end-user and business needs. Rohan's fast-track promotion based on exceptional leadership and performance led him to be selected for top-priority initiatives at the firm, and he was internally transferred from Cloud Operations to the Software Engineering team, along with the responsibility of leading Unified Insights Cloud Operations and SRE. Built for educators, by educators, Unified Insights is an award-winning, comprehensive K-12 student data analytics platform trusted by DOEs, districts, and schools. Prior to PowerSchool, Rohan worked as a Software Engineer at State Street, where he collaborated with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality software that met customer expectations. During his stint, he created test plans, scenarios, and test cases for new requirements, updated the existing test suite for any modifications, and performed functional testing of data flow in the system, metadata testing, and schema testing in target tables in snowflake. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his high school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Rohan's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, test, SRE, SQL, Snowflake, Software Engineer, and QA.
